Cooloola Coastal Foreshore Reserves Management Plan Review

Gympie Regional Council is reviewing the Cooloola Coast Foreshore Reserves Management Plan and is seeking community feedback to help ensure the updated plan reflects what matters most to the community, while continuing to protect the natural environment.

At this stage, Council is seeking feedback to help:

• Understand what people value most about the foreshore reserves
• Identify any issues or concerns Council should consider
• Help make sure the updated plan reflects community values and priorities
• Inform future planning, management and decision-making for these important public spaces

This is an opportunity for the community to provide input as Council reviews and updates the plan.

What we are asking

We want to hear from people who live in the area, visit the Cooloola Coast, run a local business, use the foreshore reserves regularly, or have an interest in their future.

We are interested in hearing:

• How you use and experience the foreshore reserves
• What you value most about these areas
• Any issues or concerns you think Council should be aware of
• What should be reflected in the updated plan
• Anything Council should protect, improve or manage over time

How your feedback will be used

Your feedback will help Council understand community values, identify key issues and priorities, to inform the review of the Cooloola Coast Foreshore Reserves Management Plan.
