Council is planning to renew the playground at Crab Creek Playground as the existing play equipment has reached the end of its useful life.
The renewal gives us an opportunity to replace the ageing equipment and consider the mix of play experiences available at the park.
Before we develop the new playground design, we want to hear from the people who use the park, including local families, children and carers.
Have your say
We’d like to know what types of play equipment and play experiences are most important to you. Your feedback will help Council understand community priorities and inform the design of the renewed playground.
The survey asks about:
the age groups using the playground
the types of play equipment you value most
equipment that is less important to you
other types of play you would like Council to consider.
Complete the short survey by 5pm 15 November 2026.
What happens next?
Once consultation closes, we’ll review the feedback alongside the available space, playground standards, accessibility requirements and project budget. The feedback will help guide the final mix of equipment and play experiences included in the renewed playground.
While we may not be able to include every suggestion, we’ll use the feedback to understand what matters most to the people who use the park.
We’ll provide an update on the project once the playground design has been developed.
