What is this consultation about?
This consultation is part of Council’s Public Interest Review (PIR) of proposed Local Laws and Subordinate Local Laws. |
Why is Council consulting on these proposed changes?
Queensland legislation requires Council to consult before making local laws that may have anti-competitive impacts. Consultation helps Council understand potential impacts on businesses and the community and identify whether there are reasonable alternatives that could achieve the same outcomes. |
